Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas this year. So thankful that several years ago, the Lord gave me the best gift I could have asked for, the salvation of my soul. Such an underserved gift, but one given to me by God because of His great love. Not because of what I was, but in spite of what I was. The only thing that I had to do to receive it was to admit I was a sinner (not hard to prove) , and that Jesus (God in the flesh) came to live a sinless life and to die on the Cross for my sin and the sin of all the world. I just returned from a 3 week trip to the Philippines, where I met my wife Dana and had our Philippine Ceremony (for our online legal marriage) and where I visited our ABA missions and churches in Bohol, Pampanga, and Cebu. It was a blessed trip and at the risk of sounding trite, it was life changing in many ways. When I returned I was feeling very down because I had to leave the woman I love behind while we wait for the slow wheels of government to turn on spousal her visa application. Along with having cried for around 15 hours, Being jet lagged and wearing from travel, I had the added benefit of learning upon my arrival home that someone had liberated my Karvan utility trailer and my Husqvarna riding lawnmower (and they didn’t even mow the lawn on their way out.)
