Deuteronomy 31:8. TRUST, OBEY, be CONTENT, be without FEAR

Although this promise is specific to Israel, God is FAITHFUL in all things, and in all times, to those who are His.  We have to learn to TRUST, OBEY, and to be CONTENT, and without FEAR.  I’m sure one of you, like me, are likely struggling with one or more of the items in this list.  Praying for myself and you all that we will learn to do each of those things and that we will speed up that process before things get really bad.

Deuteronomy 31:6

Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

Hebrews 13:5-6

Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

Psalms 56:4

In God I will praise his word,

in God I have put my trust; I will not fear

what flesh can do unto me.

Psalms 118:6-9

The LORD is on my side; I will not fear:

what can man do unto me?

The LORD taketh my part with them that help me:

therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me.

It is better to trust in the LORD

than to put confidence in man.

It is better to trust in the LORD

than to put confidence in princes.

Romans 13:11-14

And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying. But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.

Ephesians 5:8-16

For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret. But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light. Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.

See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
