Qoheleth: Verse of the Day

 

  I was reminded of this verse yesterday, by a dear family friend.  Thankful for God’s blessings of friendship and encouragement.

Look ye saints the sight is glorious is a hymn written in 1809.  I just found it again after almost forgetting about it!  I love the words, the first of which, are quoted above.  It was inspired by today’s verse,  Hebrews 2:9.  What a glorious sight it will be to see our Saviour crowned and seated on His throne.  To hear the song click here…  https://youtu.be/XPRCQptveTU?feature=shared .   I’m so glad, that the list of all my sins was nailed on the cross, and taken away by his death in my place.  The only charge against him, was that he was the King of the Jews, which was the truth!  All of my sins (and yours, if you’ve asked him to forgive you and save you) were paid for by Jesus!  Thank you Lord Jesus, and thank you Father God, for loving us and sending him to die.

 

 

 

        Photo location: Fort Knox, Penobscot,Maine  In  this verse is God speaking to His people Israel, but I believe the principle that God takes care of all of those who belong to Him is proven in scripture.  Cast all of your care upon Him for He care to for you! Like in Saturdays verse, our God is contrasted with those man made idols who can do NOTHING for they ARE NOT!
